Once Omori woke up again, he would discover that many of his friends had entered the Last Resort, with all of them signing contracts that bind them to it. After this, Omori would enter White Space again, where he would stab himself. After defeating her, Omori would enter the Lost Library, once again by himself, where he would read through some of Sunny's memories before discovering Basil behind a bookcase. Omori and his friends would head over to Sweetheart's castle to see her 'Quest For Hearts' but would end up fighting her after she tried to imprison them in the dungeon. The Stranger calls out to Omori about the past, before Omori returns to White Space again.Īfter helping the Space Pirates out, Omori and his friends would become distracted again by Sweetheart. ![]() After defeating Space Boyfriend, Omori and his friends travel the rest of Otherworld, but Omori becomes isolated from the rest of his friends where he has his first encounter with the Stranger, a shadowy version of Basil. After this, Captain Spaceboy would awaken as Space Boyfriend, an angrier version of himself fueled by the heartbreak of being dumped by Sweetheart. Omori and his friends would help out by finding his special mixtape in the Junkyard, where they would bring it back and play it on the boombox. While Omori was looking for Basil, he would end up being distracted from his quest by helping out the Space Pirates, a group of pirates in the Otherworld who had their leader, Captain Spaceboy, in heartbreak from his latest breakup. During this time, Omori would find letters to complete a hangman puzzle and would be stalked by Something, a manifestation of the guilt that Sunny had. Omori would then reappear in White Space and would stab himself, causing Sunny to wake up.Īfter Sunny fell back asleep, Omori would reawaken and find that Basil was missing, leading to him and his friends to look for Basil. This would lead to Basil being sent to Black Space, where the guilt that Sunny had resided. After looking at this photo, Basil began to realize that it was a photo of Mari's death. However, after this, Basil would find a photo that was not present in the photo album before. During this argument, Basil would trip and lose some of his photos, leading to Omori helping rearrange the photo album Basil had once they got to his house. ![]() On the way, Basil took a photo of Omori and his friends, and this would lead to Kel and Aubrey arguing over who would see the photo first. One day, after visiting his friends, Omori would travel with Basil, Hero, Kel, and Aubrey back to Basil's house. In Headspace, Omori would become friends with versions of Sunny's friends that were created in Headspace, and they would travel together throughout it. Soon after this event, Omori would manifest himself in Sunny's mind as a way to escape the horrors of his actions, in the form of White Space and Headspace. After this, Sunny and his friend, Basil, would stage the accidental murder as a suicide, leading to both of them gaining guilt in the form of Something. Even at the end of the game, when Sunny confronts Omori after having discovered the truth about his actions, Omori is still trying to accomplish his purpose as a mechanism that allows Sunny to escape his woes and traumas, by pointing Sunny towards the only means of escape left now that a mental repression is no longer an option: suicide.īefore his creation and before the main events of Omori, Sunny and his sister Mari would get into an argument regarding an upcoming recital, leading to Sunny pushing Mari down the stairs and to her death. In his own twisted way, Omori is still shown to care for both Sunny and Mari. This is seen with how Headspace is reset during the game's alternate route, as well as when Basil obtains a photo of the truth of what had happened to Mari. Being a mental construct subconsciously created by Sunny to help himself escape the burden of his actions, Omori manipulates Headspace to prevent any chances of the truth from being revealed to Sunny. Omori is also revealed to be a manipulative person. Based on his in-game attacks and abilities, it can be seen that Omori generally feels gloomy and melancholic. Omori is a cold and gloomy person, and is silent for a majority of the game's Headspace segments. Unlike the rest of headspace and the rest of the versions of Sunny's friends in Headspace, he does not have the purple and colorful dreamlike effect of them and has no pupils.ĭuring the final fight against Sunny, Omori's monochromatic color palette changes to one of red, black, and white, with more of his body becoming distorted and red the longer the fight carries on. He has pale white skin and dark black hair. OMORI is a black and white version of Sunny, wearing a black tank top, striped shorts, and black socks. ![]()
